Well when I was younger, 30 seemed old, 40 amazing and 50 near death. Now that I have lived through all these milestones, I’m thinking that I feel maybe a bit less fit as 20 years ago but the mind is still in great shape, I can still run my little block around the house and have kept up with both technology and other developments in my trade. So working is no hassle, but actually enjoying as lots of other responsibilities (causing distractions) like kids at home have disappeared. In the UK there seem to be lots of like minded folks according to THIS article.
