This Midnight Blue coloured timepiece is powered by the Spring Drive movement, uniquely pioneered by Seiko Watch Corporation’s watchmakers.

A moonlit sky at night has a tantalizing and ever-changing hue which is captured perfectly in this midnight blue dial. Sometimes, the warmth of the blue is to the fore and, at others, the dial seems almost pitch black. Whatever its aspect, this dial is the perfect backdrop against which the diamond-cut hands and hour markers stand out in sharp relief.

Spring Drive generates energy like a conventional mechanical watch with a mainspring but combines this with an electronic regulator to deliver superior precision, never requiring a battery change. Spring Drive is only available in Seiko Watch corporation timepieces.
The second hand moves in perfect glide motion, with no “tick”, across the dial, reflecting the natural and continuous flow of time itself.

The power reserve is 72 hours when fully wound and is shown on the discreet indicator next to the eight o’clock index.
