Compensation (Range): $25/ hour

This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies.  Experienced Payroll Analyst        

Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as an Experienced Payroll Analyst will include:

  • Collect and process electronic and manual pay data into the payroll system. 
  • Perform complex clerical duties involved in the preparation and processing of the payrolls. 
  • Prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports. 
  • Document workflow and work procedures. 
  • Cross train designated back-up to administer and process payroll. 
  • Research and resolve problems, perform scheduled activities and serve as a liaison with service providers. 
  • Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports. 
  • Complete appropriate Sox reconciliations. 
  • Provide support to Payroll Accounting personnel. 
  • Participate on cross-functional project teams. 
  • Distribution of payroll reports and financial information to entities as required. Responds to all entity requests, employee verifications and legal writs. 
  • Resolves general payroll problems and questions. Able to use multiple systems effectively (e.g. ADP PCPW, ADP Quickview, ADP iReports, ADP Report Smith, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Mainframe, PC Applications) 

    Additional responsibilities unique to this position: 

  • Direction Received: Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 
  • Performs most payroll functions without assistance. 
  • Resolves general payroll problems and questions. 
  • Works under the direct supervision of the Payroll Team Lead 

     

Experienced Payroll Analyst

Job Requirements

As an Experienced Payroll Analyst you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Requires a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience processing multi-state payroll in a large (1,000+ employee), automated environment.
  • Requires knowledge of commonly used payroll concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of what legislations apply for different states
  • ADP and PCPW experience preferred
