The Accounting Assistant position is responsible for managing accounts payable and assisting with accounts receivable. This position will also provide administrative support to project management, project engineers, and site supervisors to obtain all invoices as well as collaborating with the project coordinator to obtain W9 and COIs. The Accounting Assistant will be flexible assisting all company team members as needed.
•Assist with the management of employee timecards on a weekly basis.
•Assist Accounting Manager with collecting all invoices for Accounts Receivable.
•Assist Accounting Manager with month-end close including but not limited to; journal entries, account analysis, and reconciling balance sheet and net income statements.
•Responsible for credit card reconciliations and assisting Accounting Manager with bank reconciliations.
Knowledge and Experience:
•Education: 4-year accounting degree or relevant experience required.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory as well as familiarity with construction software such as Bluebeam, Procore, and Viewpoint. Additional construction project management software experience is a plus.
•Experience Required: 2-5 years accounting experience with a construction and or manufacturing company.
Skills and Abilities:
•High drive to succeed coupled with excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to coordinate with professional and sub-professional project teams.
•Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to manage multiple projects concurrently.
•Strong computing skills to run office software packages.
•Strong analytical skills.
•Work will be in the Boulder Office with occasional trips to project site.
•Must have a valid Colorado Driver?s License
•Must have a clean criminal record for work with educational facilities.
