This is displayed on the off-centre 24-hour disc, making it easy to differentiate between daytime and nighttime hours in the second time zone.
In addition, a deep red rectangle in one of the 12 windows around the dial shows the current month, a unique feature of the Saros annual calendar. This innovative mechanism simplifies the user's life by automatically adjusting the date at the end of each 30-day month. The annual calendar accurately displays the date throughout the year, requiring only one adjustment on March 1st (due to February's varying number of days). The date is synchronized with local time and adjusts automatically based on the traveler's time zone.
