According to figures, older people who engaged in sexual activity more than once a more were around 50 per cent more likely to describe themselves as “very happy” than those who were celibate for at least a year.
The conclusions – in a study by the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in the United States – come after Jane Fonda, the actress, attributed her youthful appearance to a continued healthy libido.
